Dear Expansion Seed Partner!
“Then said the Lord to me … I will hasten my Word to perform it!” (Jeremiah 1:12)
We wish to thank you for your pledge and/or contributions toward the Streams Church's church acquisition. Your standing in agreement with us and your willingness to sow into our vision means more than you will ever know.
We feel it necessary to inform you as to how your seed will be used toward this project.
1. We are entering into a lease-to-purchase agreement with the organization offering us the property located at 3425 Boulevard Place, Indianapolis, IN 46208. This arrangement has allowed us to move into the facility right away without having to wait to raise the total funds needed for a downpayment to purchase.
2. The Lessor has agreed to apply 15% of our monthly lease payments toward the principal until we're in a position to acquire a mortgage. We have been given 3 years to lease and work toward acquiring financing to purchase.
3. All donations received in the Expansion Campaign will be used for downpayment toward the purchase acquisition of 3425 Boulevard Place, Indianapolis, IN. Funds will be retained in a special account for this purpose.
Streams partners: it's imperative that your pledged giving is above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings, otherwise we defeat the purpose of meeting our current budget when regular tithes and offerings are used toward pledged commitments. If you submit a pledge for a given amount, we're assuming this is over and above your regular giving. Thank you for understanding.
3. We are working on additional income streams from our property that will aid in raising funds toward our downpayment within the 3 years:
a. Cuddle Kiddies Childcare. We currently operate two Childcare Ministries (Cuddle Kiddies Childcare) in two different locations around the city (Nora & Castleton). Seed contributions from both will also assist in balancing our budget and raising funds toward our final downpayment. Our Nora location (777 E. 86th Street) is at capacity. Our newest Castleton location (7920 E. 82nd Street) is 20% filled, however, we have satisfied our current operational budget for both facilities. This means that the remaining 80% of seats to fill will contribute to our Accelerated Seed campaign. Help us fill those seats! This is just another way to support us in our fundraising efforts. b. A New Childcare on the Premises. Cuddle Kiddies Childcare III is now ready to begin classes January 6, 2025. This area is ideal for state funded monies for low income families. All funds (after expenses) from this location will go toward the downpayment as well as supplementing the mortgage once we acquire the property. c. Upon This Rock Productions. We have already presented two productions on our new stage in the lower level of the church. Pastor Sharon (UTR Exec Director) and I have agreed to utilize the stage in the lower level of the church for ongoing productions to assist in raising funds as well as acquiring grants for performing arts camps for youth which will also assist with the overhead and our goal of acquiring the mortgage. After 40 years of producing the Upon This Rock Passion Play, we are excited about this next season of smaller yet powerful productions that will be presented in dinner theater style in the lower level of our new property! Four productions have already been slated for 2025: “12 Angry Jurors”, “Job: A Man of Our Times”, and an encore performance of “The Amen Corner”, and a special Easter production. A summer youth camp partnership with a local charter school has been confirmed for Summer 2025. A catering partnership with TNT Catering & BBQ has already proven themselves at our previous dinner shows as we continue to provide excellence in good food, fellowship, and off-Broadway quality performances. d. A Tithe from The Harvest. We have asked God for a harvest tithe of the population in the 46208 zip code area (a population of 22,000). We’re believing God for a soul harvest of 2200 fresh hungry converts who will fill the seats and actively serve in the vision of The Streams Church! Our Drive-by Prayer van has already begun canvassing the neighborhood and we’re already witnessing the harvest within the first month of settling in. We accept the charge of following Jesus as He continues to make us “fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). Come on in! The water is fine, the streams are flowing, and the fish are biting!

How to make a seed donation (one-time or recurring): Click the “sow a seed now” link below and sow a one-time or recurring seed. Select giving option “Building Fund” and the amount will be added to your pledged commitment. You can also sow using our CashApp: $streamschurch and type in note section: Expansion Seed or Building Fund. A monthly reminder letter will be sent to all partners with an update on the campaign.
